Compassion and understanding are at the core of how David Ashe approaches the challenges that face our clients. David is a Tidewater native who serves his country as well as his community as a judge advocate in the US Marine Corps. In his broad career, he has served with infantry in Iraq, with NATO throughout Europe and with the highest planning levels of the Marine Corps. In his reserve capacity, he has specialized in disability law where he guides wounded warriors through the medical claims process. As a result, his experience is with the earliest stages of a disability claim and the innermost workings of the VA. This is among the reasons that his clients have that extra advantage when working to maximize benefits with Veterans Affairs and with Social Security.

openquoteAmerica encourages its citizens to aim high and swing for the fence. But if a person is held back by illness or injury, our society has wisely invested in social safety nets like social security and veteran disability. Disability benefits are designed to give our most vulnerable citizens what they need the most: A fighting chance. We partner with our clients to build the strongest case possible. With regard to the Veterans Administration, my experience in uniform is with the earliest stages of a VA claim and this gives us the edge when we team with a fellow veteran to maximize benefits. closequote
