Heart Conditions and SSD

Although heart conditions are often controllable with treatment and medication, they can cause people to be unable to work. Disabling heart conditions may include congestive heart failure, coronary artery disease, syncope, congenital heart defects, and irregular heartbeats. Uncontrollable hypertension may also cause serious limitations. These may in some cases leas to heart attacks and other serious cardiac events. It is important that you seek treatment for your conditions, whether it be with your primary care physician or cardiologist.

If you feel that your heart problems are preventing you from working and you are seeking Social Security Disability and/or SSI benefits, please call Rutter Mills for a free consultation. We may be able to help you.
