Great Chocolate Race 10 Mile/5K
Saturday, February 13, 2016 at 7:00 AM.
Located at the Crowne Plaza Hampton Marina at 700 Settlers Landing Road, Hampton, VA 23669.

Highlights: On Saturday, February 13, dash over to downtown Hampton for a sweet event taking place on Valentine’s Day Weekend, the Great Chocolate Race 10 Mile/5K! The inaugural event, showcasing two great scenic courses in Hampton, will conclude with an amazing chocolate after party catered by the Crowne Plaza Hampton Marina Hotel.
Packet pickup will take place 11:00 AM until 7:00 PM on Friday, February 12 at the Crowne Plaza Hampton Marina Hotel, located at 700 Settlers Landing Road. During pick up, registrants will have the opportunity to partake in delicious hot chocolate.
On Saturday, February 13, the 5K will begin at 7:00 AM, with the 10 Mile beginning promptly at 7:15 AM. All runners will receive a long-sleeve technical shirt, finisher medal, and entrance into the Post Race Chocolate Party (10 Mile runners will also get a surprise gift). In addition, first, second, and third place overall male and female finishers will receive a Gold, Silver, or Bronze medal along with a chocolate themed gift. Age group awards will not be announced at the awards ceremony, so racers should check the results and pick up their awards before leaving the post party the day of the race.
After the race, participants won’t want to miss the Post Race Chocolate Party, catered by the Crowne Plaza Hampton Marina Hotel! The menu will include chocolate fondue and delightful treats for dipping, along with hot chocolate. There will also be a cash bar offering delectable chocolate themed drinks.
The host hotel for the Great Chocolate Race 10 Mile/5K is the Crowne Plaza Hampton Marina. There is currently a limited number of discounted rooms available so be sure to book early by dialing 1-866-375-6054 (Code TGR).
