Hunt Club Farm Harvest Fair

Each Friday, Saturday and Sunday in October 2016 from 10:00 AM until 6:00 PM.

Teen Takeover: Down the Rabbit Hole

Located at MOCA: Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art at 2200 Parks Avenue, Virginia Beach, VA 23451.

Highlights: Enter the world of the absurd at MOCA’s Surrealist Masquerade inspired my many of the works featured in our current exhibition Turn the Page: The First Ten Years of Hi- Fructose that play within the genre of pop surrealism. Hampton Roads teens will take over the MOCA for an extravaganza of art, music, mocktails, and free eats. Prizes will be awarded for best costume.

FlickIt! Presents – The Return of the Living Dead

Highlights: Written and directed by Dan O’Bannon, The Return of the Living Dead is a zombie punk classic that centers around a group of teens who have to deal with a horde of brain-hungry zombies attacking the town after the accidental release of a toxic gas into the air. The Muse Writers Center will be selling Smartmouth Beer in the lobby, with all the proceeds going to support their scholarships and writing workshops. Hampton Horror Tours

Monday, October 24 through Friday, October 28, 2016 from 6:15 PM until 7:30 PM daily.

Located at The Hampton History Museum at 120 Old Hampton Lane, Hampton, VA 23669.

Highlights: Featuring a 60-minute tour of eerie tales of old Hampton and the Coastal Virginia area. You will encounter the first witch recorded in America, ghosts of Civil War Soldiers, pirates from Blackbeard’s crew, German submariners, a speakeasy proprietor, escaped prisoners, Spanish influenza victims, and more characters from the city’s tales of mystery and the macabre. Each tour will include the grisly side of Hampton history, surprises and a spooky lantern tour of the St. John’s Church graveyard, and other points of fright along Queen Street and around Downtown Hampton.
