2023 Legal Food Frenzy Is On

From Firm to Table

Rutter Mills is helping stomp out hunger in our area by participating in the 2023 Legal Food Frenzy food drive. From April 17th to the 28th, we will collect donations and raise funds to benefit the Food Bank of Southeastern Virginia.

In Our Community

In our area, 1 in 7 people struggle with hunger. Yes, 1 out of every 7, so look around your neighborhood, at church, at school drop off; 1 in 7 people are struggling right now. These are our neighbors, our friends, and our community, and taking care of them matters.

Each year legal teams from across the Commonwealth compete to see who will earn the coveted “General’s Cup.” The winner becomes this year’s holder of the trophy given by the state’s Attorney General. Rutter Mills raised over $2600 and 279 pounds of food. That total provided over 3200 meals for people in our community struggling from food insecurity.

How Can You Help?

Drop Off Food Donations – Between April 17th and April 28th, you can bring non-perishable food items to the Norfolk or Newport News office locations.

Donations – You can also use our team fundraising page to donate or to have your friends, family, and neighbors make donations.
