The Halloween season is upon us, so we’ve comprised this handy list of fun Halloween attractions throughout Hampton Roads happening between now and October 31st, 2015! This list includes both family-friendly places for the kids and scary attractions meant for adults. This year marks the 26th anniversary of Virginia Beach’s most popular Halloween venue. Hunt Club Farm offers several scary attractions, including the Field of Screams, the Village of the Dead, and their well-known Haunted Hay Ride.
Location: 2388 London Bridge Road, Virginia Beach
Date: Every night through Halloween (Saturday, October 31), 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. (last ticket sold at 9:30 p.m.)
This is a kid-friendly Halloween event located at Hunt Club Farm. There will be free candy and treats for the kids. Activities include a petting farm, pony rides, pumpkins, and carnival rides.

Date: Sunday, October 25, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
This free event, fun for the entire family, offers trick or treating throughout Town Center, arts and crafts activities, face-painting and balloon animals, a “Thriller” dance performance, and more.

Travel around the world at PFAC this Halloween during its Day of the Dead and Halloween Celebration! Explore artistic traditions from around the world that are associated with the Day of the Dead.

Meet your favorite Princesses and Villains! Come in your best costume and enjoy Halloween activities, snacks, drinks, music, raffle prizes, and more.

Trick-or-treat throughout the Center while exploring the two new exhibits: Imagination Playground and the Solarium. After, enjoy treats while watching a feature film in the Riverside IMAX Theater.

There will be a costume party, vendors, food, drinks, and a live DJ. This is a Halloween event for the whole family.

This is a half-hour ride through the haunted woods of Northwest River Park. A storyteller tells a terrifying tale that unfolds along the tracks, making several stops along the way to witness grizzly scenes and gather more details of the story.

Date: October 22 – 24, 7 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.
Halloween events will include pony rides, laser tag, hay rides, trick or treating, and more. This will be a fun, safe, and non-scary atmosphere.

Date: Saturday, October 31, 2015 from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Guides take spectators on a walk past haunted houses and mansions of Olde Towne, a 20-square block, 500 building area on the National Register of Historic Places. At each house on the tour, actors in appropriate costume will retell the legends of ghostly visitations and things that go bump in the night.

Wear your costumes to the museum for a day of tricks, treats, and spooky activities. Enjoy games with prizes, spooky crafts, magic shows, and a special visit from Bat World.

Bush Garden’s popular Halloween attraction returns for another great year. Each Saturday and Sunday at 6pm from now until November 1, the park becomes a frighteningly fun place. Check the website for details, as the attractions may not be suitable for young children.

Date: Saturdays and Sundays through November 1 beginning at 6 pm
The Ghost Tour guide will lead you through the streets of Colonial Williamsburg by candlelight while sharing eerie and fun folklore of this very old city.
Location: The tour’s meeting place is the William & Mary Bookstore, 345 Duke of Gloucester Street, Williamsburg.
Date: Every night at 8 p.m. from March-October.
