Late last night, on October 29, 2013, a pedestrian was hit by a dark-colored truck at the 2200 block of Melrose Avenue near the turn to go to Orange Avenue. Roanoke City Police are searching for the truck driver. Injuries were not life-threatening, and the victim is expected to fully recover.
