63-year-old Patricia Anne Soler of Emporia, Virginia was in a fatal auto accident on Monday, March 3rd, 2014. The single-vehicle crash occurred on Route 622 in Greensville County. The victim was heading northbound on Route 622, also known as the 6000 block of Little Low Ground, when she lost control of her vehicle and struck a tree. The vehicle she was driving was a 2009 Mini Cooper. According to Sgt. Michelle Anaya, spokeswoman for Virginia State Police, the driver was not wearing a seat belt, and suffered serious injuries. Weather did not seem to be a factor in the crash. It is unknown whether alcohol was a factor. The victim was transported to Southern Virginia Regional Medical Center, where she later passed away.
